Brooklyn Gear is the international source for musical instruments, accessories, and gifts. We are a rarity
in the music equipment industry as we are involved in so many fun and exciting things. As artists and self
proclaimed "gear heads" we continue to search and/or develop what we ourselves want to play or use.
This has led us to create and manufacturer our own line of products including The Perfect Capo, Strings,
Straps, Cabinets, etc. At the same time, we are proud to work with some of the most talented people in
our industry and distribute their products not only in North America but worldwide.

Our close relationship with the accomplished player and luthier Ken Smith has led us to manufacture his
Ken Smith Designed Basses known as "KSD". This partnership has allowed us to bring terrific affordable
instruments to the worldwide market. The great reviews continue to pour in on these basses from various
music trade magazines and online forums. We are proud of the established artists who have come on
board and added a KSD into their arsenal.

We have also been very fortunate to be able to work with the brilliant team at Doyle Audio on our new
cabinets. Doyle Audio was founded by Gerald Doyle. Gerry is a recognized innovator with over 25 years
of experience in hand crafting cabinets from the audiophile to the pro musician on tour. This product line
will continue to expand as we hear from you, the player.

Pickboy is one of the original innovators in the guitar accessory market. As the third largest pick manufacturer
in the world they continue to design and manufacture the best picks on the market. Their attention to detail
and quality continues with their new hand-cut exotic and stone picks. Also, please also check out the extensive

EBS Bass is a rare marriage of incredible engineering and an amazing sound. We never tire of getting that call
or e-mail of amazement when you (the player) plugs in and hear that wonderful sound coming out of that EBS
Pedal or Amp for the first time. We have really enjoyed working with EBS all these years. The impressive list
of our artist endorsees continues to expand giving us backstage access to some of the best concerts in the
country. As artists, we understand the importance of product and warranty support and EBS understands this
as well - consequently, they have trained numerous repair centers throughout the USA.

Our ever growing music-themed gift line developed out of a need to give holiday presents to our artists several
years ago. We were unable to find any quality music-themed gift that we wanted to put in our own homes so we
created our own line. You can now find our products in some of the top gift and symphony stores around the
world.

One thing we have not forgotten and will never forget are the principles that Brooklyn gear was founded upon --
we are musicians looking for and creating products for ourselves and other musicians. Further to this philosophy,
we have built a professional sound room right on our premises which enables our artists and friends to come in
and demo our professional quality gear. Please note that our product evaluations are not limited to our sound
room. You can always find our top artists out on the road testing our equipment and giving us their feedback.

Brooklyn Gear is headquartered in an exciting new section of Brooklyn known as DUMBO (Down Under
Manhattan Brooklyn Bridge Overduct). This area is a wonderfully creative environment for artists of all types.
In our building alone is our printer, graphic designer, photographer and other creative services. We believe it's
important to give back to our community as our success has come from using these amazing people and taking
advantage of the the creative vibe in our neighborhood. Local artist organizations such as the Dumbo Arts
Center(www.dumborartscenter.org) routinely hold festivals and open houses. We support these local artists by
displaying their artwork on our alls and opening up our loft during these artist studio tours....

Come visit us on the 10th floor of our 100 year-old building along the edge of the East River and enjoy the
beautiful views of Manhattan. Sometimes we just stop and watch the boats going up and down the river. Please
come down and take a look through our telescope and figure out how that tugboat moves that big barge up the
river with such skill. We appreciate talent.
